So here is Isaac's first day on the bus. He's been so excited about riding the bus, he never waves goodbye! Until last Wednesday, that is. He finally waved out the window as the bus left.
Timothy really wanted to go to school, too! He insisted on wearing his backpack to the bus stop. He's doing better about Isaac leaving for school. At first he was upset at losting his play buddy, but now he's realizing he gets Mommy to himself for the afternoon. We're having a great time, too! Some days we run errands, or play outside, or sometimes just nap.
Last weekend was the Sr. High Fall retreat for our youth at church. We had a great time at Three Springs (in PA). Above is a picture of my Junior girls. I can't believe they're Juniors already! We had a great weekend of games, horseback riding, hay rides and hanging out.
This is me and Laura. She's a Senior this year. Can't believe it.........I hope she goes to college nearby or Isaac and Timmy will be heartbroken. They love her to death!

We had fun this weekend.....we went camping! Okay, so it wasn't real sleep-in-a-tent, pee-in-the-woods camping. It was sleep-in-a-cabin-with-electricity-and-warm-shower camping. Even better! We went to Jellystone Park (yes, the Yogi Bear thing) with 3 other families and had a blast, even if it did rain all weekend. I'll post pictures soon. The kids had a great time...........we threw them out in the mud and let them get as dirty as they wanted on Saturday afternoon. Isaac and Timmy were soaked to their armpits! They slept good that night, which was a good thing 'cuz the "grown-ups" stayed up til 2:30 playing Mafia. Everyone had a great time.

I"ve been trying to load more pics, but my computer is trying to show me who's boss again. Any way......I started my new job last week. I really like the place. The doctors are super nice, and most of the people I work with are, too! I used to work with one of the girls, Tracy, when I was at P&S. So it's fun assigning new titles to the old names. For example, Linda is the new "Marie". I'm getting the hang of the new system, and everyone is so grateful they don't have to train me that they're being super nice. I'm sure the honeymoon period will be over soon, but I'm enjoying it while it lasts. The boys are getting used to daycare. Isaac loves it, but Timmy isn't too keen on the idea. At least it's only 2 days a week. It's good for him to be around other kids his age. Both the boys are hitting a developmental growth spurt. It's cool to see the way they play and think change, seemingly overnight.

Thursday was Isaac's first day of Kindergarten!!!!!! He's is absolutely loving it. Here he is all dressed up and ready to go. He picked out his own clothes and insisted I spike his hair so he would look like a "dude".
Me and my baby.
Here he is with his backpack on ready to head out the door. No, Helen, your eyes are not playing tricks on you. My son, my own flesh and blood, is actually wearing a camouflage backpack. I knew he had Rivers genes in there somewhere, but did they have to come out when we were shopping for a backpack?
Maurice came home to see us off. Since it was Isaac's first day, his teacher asked the parents to drive the kids to school and help acclimate them to the clasroom.
And here is Isaac lined up ready to go into his classroom. He acted like such a pro!
