Tonight Maurice and I went out to dinner with our neighbors. We had such a great time! They have a daughter that is Isaac's age, so she came over and played with the boys while we went out. No, we didn't leave them here alone (just in case you were wondering); they had a babysitter. Isaac was so excited........he said " I haven't had a babysitter in weeks!". I guess he likes it when we go out! It was a fun evening, although we stayed out a little bit later than we had intended. Who can blame us? Our neighbors said they hadn't been out by themselves in over 2 years! I can't imagine that. Anyway, I think we both had a bit of a hard time putting the kids down tonight. My boys are used to going to bed no later than 8:00, and they were up past 10:00. Doesn't hurt them every now and then! Our neighbors are both musically inclined and like many different genres of music. It's the first conversation we've had with another couple about classical music in a long time! It was sort of wierd to be discussing Stravinsky over dinner. Used to be a very common occurrence, so it was nice. Yay for nights out!

Let it snow!

The boys are enjoying our winter. Today it was finally warm enough to let them go outside and play in the snow. It's been too cold for them to play outdoors lately.......for a stretch there the high didn't get out of the single digits!
