It is a bright, beautiful, sunshiny (cold) day! Much contrast to the past two miserably windy snowy days. The weather this winter has been so extreme and unpredictable. Better than last year, I guess, which was just plain cold. The boys and I went yesterday to a friend's house for a playdate. Isaac likes playing with Daniel because they can play rough and tough like boys do. And Elizabeth loves all things having to do with babies (she's 5) so she helps a lot with Timmy. It was nice to get out of the house. I think we've gone out every day this week.......Monday was the zoo, Tuesday was the library (a horrible mess-Timmy kept throwing temper tantrums), Wednesday we met Pam and Maddie and Chloe at the indoor playground, and yesterday was Faith's house. I have to get out of the house or I go insane. This weekend I'm going with our youth group from church on their Sr. High winter retreat. It's always a lot of fun (translate....not much sleep!). I'm not sure it's snowed enough to go sledding, though. The boys have lots of stuff planned while I'm away. Isaac has a birthday party to go to and the boys will be spending the night at the Jenkins' house again. Susie is so great--she always keeps the boys overnight while I'm gone on the retreats. That way Maurice doesn't have to deal with them Sunday morning. He has to be at work so early, it's hard to get the boys ready for church and still be there by 7:00. I know I have a hard time with it and we don't have to be there til 9:45!
